One of NYC’s finest chefs, minister of the gospel and author to two successful books, Daron Jamel Linson is a person of ambition, faith and perseverance. A native of Brooklyn, NY, Linson started his determining drive from spiritual development under the tutelage of Rev. Cade Jones III and the St. Luke Community Church of Brownsville, where he became involved in several departments which included the Youth ministry. It was from there that Linson received his spiritual foundational support and proceeded to reach for his dreams. A graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School in Brooklyn, NY, Linson went on to work in many different job sectors, which include serving the developmentally disabled population as a direct care worker and supervisor for several statewide organizations. His love for people and to help serve promoted him into his own business as a certified chef of Mel’s Southern Soulfood, LLC, where he proudly serves his community at large through catering events and promoting a delicious savory hoice to eat. Under Daron Enterprises, LLC, may businesses have come into fruition which includes his catering business as well as being the director of the Corey Ray Foundation, a nonprofit organization promoted to uplift inner city youth.
